Scale Your Dream: Join the 2026 Fireweed Venture Accelerator to Grow Your Business and Strengthen Your Impact.

The 2026 Fireweed Venture Accelerator runs February 2, 2026 to January 29, 2027.

This 12-month, Indigenous-led comprehensive cohort is designed to transform your business and scale your impact. Combining traditional values with modern strategies, we provide proven tools, expert mentorship, and a supportive village of peers and advisors.

This is more than growth; it’s about building sure-footed stability, becoming investment-ready, and redefining success on your terms by aligning who you are with how you show up each day.

Together, we build ventures that thrive in uncertain markets while staying rooted in culture, purpose, and a shared vision for our future.

Growing tall and resilient—sometimes up to nine feet—it bends and adapts to shifting conditions, embodying the strength required to thrive in times of change. Its vibrant petals are a reminder that beauty and hope can flourish even in the wake of disruption, playing a vital role in restoring balance to the ecosystem. Fireweed does not grow alone; it thrives in connection, spreading through underground rhizomes that sustain and strengthen the whole. It offers nourishment, medicine, and healing, enriching the land it regenerates. In fireweed, we see the power of collective resilience, adaptation, and the wisdom that transformation is not only possible—it is essential.

Through Fireweed, we’re cultivating a future where Indigenous entrepreneurs are the architects of thriving economies—on our terms.

Why Fireweed? Why you should apply.

At Fireweed, we are a village of advisors, alumni, and changemakers cultivating an ecosystem of support for Indigenous-led businesses. Fireweed’s definition of a Scaleable business

A venture with the capacity to grow its revenue and impact significantly without incurring a proportional increase in costs, complexity, or resources like personnel, equipment, and technology. This involves building efficient systems, infrastructure, and processes to handle increased demand, allowing a company to produce more output with relatively fewer additional inputs. This efficiency creates profitability and a foundation for long-term success.

Programming Overview

Our year-long journey blends land-based gatherings, whole-person support, practical business tools, and a lifelong community, empowering Indigenous entrepreneurs to grow with confidence, culture, and connection. Review our curriculum highlights below.

We begin together on the land, grounding in kinship and ceremony. From there, we unpack how financial systems have impacted our people and build new, culturally aligned systems of abundance. This healing work strengthens your relationship with money so you can grow and thrive from stability not survival.

Entrepreneurship is hard and lonely. You will be supported with resources such as leadership coaching, cultural-sensitive therapy and healing services that care for mind, body and spirit and support your wellbeing.

Learn from internationally-recognized experts, from bookkeeping to branding to boardroom readiness, we cover the full spectrum of business operations. You’ll strengthen financial literacy, leadership, and scalable growth strategies to thrive in both Indigenous and mainstream markets.

Over four in-person, land-based gatherings, you’ll connect with peers, Elders, and mentors in ceremony and culture. These week-long sessions offer renewal, deep learning, and a supportive ecosystem where your business and spirit grow together.

Your journey culminates in a purposeful and powerful Pitch Night with aligned investors, equipping you to present with confidence and clarity. Beyond the accelerator, you’ll remain part of Fireweed’s growing village of entrepreneurs and alumni for continued connection, collaboration, and co-creation.
