Grounded in Indigenous values and rising together, the 2026 Fireweed Indigenous Venture Accelerator begins its journey.
The Fireweed Institute is honoured to introduce the 2026 Cohort: a national group of Indigenous founders building community-rooted ventures across technology, food systems, construction, design, culture, finance, and land-based industries. Over the next 12 months, these entrepreneurs will walk together toward a shared goal: investment- and export-readiness, strengthening their ability to access capital, enter broader markets, and scale sustainably while remaining grounded in Indigenous knowledge systems, cultural values, and self-determined growth.
Meet the 2026 Venture Accelerator Cohort, learn more about them on their websites, and follow them across their socials. We look forward to sharing more about them and their journeys over the coming months.
